Thank you, Transition and Mark your Calendars

Our thanks go out to the State Bar of Nevada, who have, until July 1, 2019 sponsored the We the People program.

With the passing of SB 193, all grade levels of We the People and Project Citizen are moving out of the State Bar of Nevada and to the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement.  Kathleen Dickinson will be the Program Director and her cell phone continues to be 70‌2.4‌19.45‌55.

This move will be a good thing for We the People as we will have elementary, middle and high schools We the People and Project Citizen under one umbrella.  We are also talking about having a Middle School competition and ensuring that we support the rural areas better than ever.

The Southern Nevada location for the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement will be at the CARE Coalition, 19‌19 S Jo‌nes Boul‌evard, La‌s Ve‌gas, N‌V 89‌146.  Our Southern Nevada District High School Competition will take place at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on December 14, 2019. The Northern Nevada High School Competition will take place at the University of Nevada, Reno on December 14, 2019, and the State High School Competition will take place at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on February 1, 2020.
