Meet the People: Jessica Ortiz

Recent We the people alumni Jessica Ortiz (McDermitt Combined Schools) along with her classmates participated in The We People Showcase.

Jessica is a recent graduate at McDermitt Combined Schools. She has been involved in Leadership Class for four years. She has been inducted into the Honor Society where she served as President.

What brought you to NVCCE

The We the People Program

What do you love most about the work you do with our civic engagement programs

I am actually just getting stated on the program, but I love learning all about what it takes to have the will to go on and do things that might be difficult, as well as working with big groups.

What is your vision of NVCCE in the future

I would like to see NVCCE grow even more, have more people involved to make a bigger difference.
