Q & A with Leah Chan Grinvald

What brought you to NVCCE?

I was introduced to NVCCE's great work through volunteering at the We the People regional competition last year.

Is there a story you want to share about your experience with our programs?

I recently volunteered to moot one of the teams going to the national competition. One of the students told me that he had initially thought to go into a science career pathway, but the We The People competition was making him rethink the law. As the law school dean, that made my day!

What is your vision of NVCCE in the future?

My vision would be for greater funding for NVCCE and then to collaboratively think with the staff and Board members as to how to grow the organization and the programs in utilizing the greater funding.
