Civic Education Present and Future with the Ohio Center for Law Related Education

On October 19th, NVCCE’s Program Director, Christine Hull sat down with three colleagues in Civic Education to discuss the current state of Civic Education. Using the 2022 Annenberg Public Policy Center Civics Knowledge Survey as well as the 2018 Brown Center Report on American Education as a baseline of evidence for the current state of Civic Education, the panel discussed possible reasons for the data points as well as shared their own call to action for the future of Civic Education in the United States.

The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education is Ohio’s Home for We the People and often works with our Nevada Coordinators on Technology Integration and more. We thank them for hosting this panel, as well as sharing this resource from their Constitution Camp.
