Ways to get involved
Our programs depend on knowledgeable, dedicated volunteer judges — and if you have expertise in history, law, government, or civic education, you might be a perfect fit.
Judging opportunities range from classroom-level experiences to our state-level competitions, including We the People, National History Day in Nevada, and Project Community. We're looking for:
History, political science, law, or education faculty
Members of the legal community — attorneys, judges, and law students
Constitutional scholars and policy experts
Local officials, educators, and community leaders
Judging is a meaningful way to engage directly with Nevada's next generation of civic leaders and see firsthand what students can accomplish when they're challenged and supported.
