Civics in Action Summit
The Nevada Center for Civic Engagement is teaming up with Voices in Voting and the Nevada Department of Education for an incredible day of Civics in Action for students in Northern and Southern Nevada.
During the Civics Summit, National History Day in Nevada and Project Citizen: Community Engagement in Public Policy projects will be on display.
In addition, student participants will be able to engage with local and state elected officials, have an opportunity to explore the state museum, and participate in an informed action project.
Lunch will be provided & schools are also able to utilize the Nevada State Museum Field Trip program for bus transportation.
Open to students in grades 6-12
