West CTA attending We the People National Finals

West Career and Technical Academy is the only Southern Nevada school to receive a Wildcard Invitation at the 2024 WTP National Finals.

After participating at the Nevada State, We the People Invitational, the Center for Civic Education announced that West CTA was awarded a Wildcard Spot at this year’s National Finals. The students jumped at the opportunity to represent Nevada at this year’s contest and immediately prepared for the competition.

In order to make this trip happen, they need your help to get to Washington, D.C. In addition to the contest, the team will have the opportunity to experience the historical locations in and around the DC Metro area, including visiting Congress.

Help us meet our goal of competing at the We the People National Finals.

Due to the rise in travel costs, the team needs your help raising at least $20,000.
