This is a 5 part series digging into the History Day process. Emphasizing skills + participating in NHD

-A teacher in grades 4-12
-Able to attend in person on one of the following dates:
September 14 (Las Vegas)
September 28 (Reno)
October 5 (Elko)
-Able to participate in virtual professional learning throughout the school year
November 7

-Committed to implementing the National History Day Program in your classroom during the 2024-2025 school year
-Enthusiastic about using inquiry-based learning in your classroom

The Spark Curiosity PLC will include a blended model of learning from scholars, pedagogy experts, and peers.
Teachers who join us will have the opportunity to learn more about the inquiry-driven, authentic assessment program National History Day
We aim to bring inquiry-based learning to classrooms across Nevada and provide community engagement opportunities to a broader, more diverse group of students.

In Nevada we have three grade level groupings for NHD
Youth Division- 4th and 5th grade
Junior Division - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade
Senior Division - 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
