Nevada educator spotlight
Meet Jessica and Kelly.
"History Day changed how I teach. When my own daughter came back to the classroom as a teacher and brought her students to the same program, that told me everything about what this work does for people."
Jessica & Kelly — Nevada NHD Teacher Leaders
Jessica teaches high school in Sparks, NV. Kelly teaches middle school in Fallon, NV.
Together, they have guided Nevada students to regional, state, and national competitions — and Jessica was named a National History Day Teacher of the Year finalist.
