Meet the People: Sondra Cosgrove
Sondra Cosgrove has been a Las Vegas resident since 1986. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with areas of specialization in the U.S. West, Native American History and Latin America. Cosgrove is a full-time history professor at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), where she also serves as Chair of the CSN Women’s Alliance. As the founder of Vote Nevada, Cosgrove participates heavily in community outreach and civic empowerment, as well as advocacy for civil rights priorities.
